*What we do:*	CDS/PROMETHEUS is a company devoted to information sharing. As a matter of fact, we pioneered the term “Information Sharing Specialists”. We add the value of our many years of experience to the goods and services that we provide through strategic alliances formed with world leaders in networking, communications and Internet services
*Brief History:*	CDS Data Systems, was founded by Daniel Lajeunesse, in 1996. Dan’s goal was to assist people with their network information management requirements. As a former President of a local computer and networking company Dan’s 15+ years experience allow him to understand the need for solid information control and movement. The software division of CDS Data Systems still stands today and is currently distributing a variety of data applications for use by Internet Service Providers and others. PROMETHEUS Information Services, was founded in 1996 and was acquired in 1999 by Barry Williams. He was CEO of a computer manufacturing and distribution company. Barry felt a move into providing pure networking and communications solutions was where the IT industry was headed. Along with providing turnkey network solutions, Barry was deeply involved in Internet consulting. CDS/PROMETHEUS was formed in November 1999 because Barry and Dan both felt that a merging of the teams of talented people from both companies would result in a company with the depth to really grow. These teams are people with backgrounds in computers, networking, Intranet, Internet and high-speed communications, ergo “ Information Sharing Specialists”. In September 2000, the company was acquired by *INTERNATIONAL DATACASTING Corporation.* About International Datacasting Corporation; IDC (TSE:IDC) provides advanced systems and services for the broadband satellite distribution of digital data in a variety of point-to-multipoint applications. With an existing base in 35 countries worldwide, IDC is at the forefront of delivering IP-based satellite datacasting solutions. Applications for IDC’s products include high-speed Internet-via-satellite networks, corporate Intranets, distance education networks, radio networks, business radio networks, weather networks, financial information and paging networks. IDC is headquartered in Ottawa , Canada , has a US sales office in Atlanta , Georgia and markets internationally through an established network of partners and distributors. Currently:	With our sister company Storm Internet Services we have installed and support a 35,000+ square kilometer, managed, wireless network stretching from Hawkesbury in the east to The Town of Renfrew in the west and extending as far south as the town of Brockville and back to Cornwall. We believe this is the largest single completely wireless ISM band Internet network in North America.
*The Future:*	At CDS/PROMETHEUS our target is to have a wireless and mixed mode network encompassing 45,000 sq. kilometers in Eastern Ontario to use as a world model. We are anticipating very strong increases in sales of both, the delivery of 2-way high-speed wireless Internet solutions to business and rural communities, and the distribution of wireless network equipment through of the partnerships we have established. Our long-term plans includes having a wireless Internet service network extending from North Bay to Toronto back to Montreal and Cornwall with Ottawa as the hub. Business and rural residents now have the option of sidestepping traditional information and communication service organizations to manage the distribution of their own information resources, without the high costs of installing and maintaining outdated external wired infrastructures.
