Subject : Renfrew Net brings super high-speed (2Mb to 5Mb/Sec) Internet services to the Valley using the JetStreamâ Wireless Internet from Storm Internet Services.
Alan Brown of Renfrew net announced today that he has reached a deal with Storm Internet Services to acquire a Wireless High-Speed link to Renfrew and will begin offering high-speed connections locally.
"I am very pleased that we were able to reach this deal with Storm so that Renfrew can finally enjoy high-speed Internet access. We have been trying for a long time to get a faster connection but were always told that the town was to small to warrant the expense". Alan was quoted as saying. " Storm, with its incredible Wireless technology, solved a big problem for us. Now we can offer real high-speed connectivity to area schools, the hospital, and local business.
We are not talking about what the regular carriers call high-speed, 128k or 512K, but true high-speed in the 2Mb to 5Mb/sec. range. This will make us a truly wired community starting the new millennium."

It lets us demonstrate what our wireless technology can really do in bringing real high-speed Internet to rural communities.
